Applicants from Intermediate / Plus 2 Arts, Science, or Commerce streams may apply in regular mode. General and OBC candidates need at least 45% overall; SC, ST, EBC, and Differently Abled candidates need at least 40%. Candidates without Mathematics must clear the college's additional qualifying test in Basic Mathematics.

The BCA programme is designed around practical computer education, professional skills, and preparation for employment or higher studies.
Three years, six semesters
The programme runs across six semesters with lectures, tutorials, practical work, examinations, and evaluation under the university structure.
Practical computer learning
Learning includes programming, web technologies, databases, computer networks, operating systems, laboratory work, and project-based practice.
Project and internship
The prospectus includes a project or student internship component after the fifth semester, subject to institutional approval and evaluation.
Attendance and assessment
Students are expected to maintain 75% attendance to appear for semester examinations, with continuous internal assessment and end-semester examinations.
